1. Reboot the PC Simply restart your computer after closing the game and Steam because a normal reboot to the system may fix multiple temporary glitches or cache data issues. It would be best if you tried it out. 2. Reconnect your Controller/Joystick The game worked fine and picked up the controller with no problems when I launched the game in Rockstar Game Launcher. Now controller gets picked up initially and the game shows PS buttons in the menu but all inputs are ignored and the controller doesn't work. I reinstalled the Rockstar Launcher.Restart Steam, Turn off Steam Overlay, Check options in Steams Settings under Controller > Big Picture Mode has an option to use the controller as a mouse, also check Desktop controller settings.
